Tempe, AZ (PRWEB) April 14, 2012
DLISH healthy on-the-go, a health conscious kitchen & coffee house complete with a drive-thru is opening its second location on Monday, April 23, 2012. The award-winning, first of its kind, healthy on-the-go restaurant will open at 1135 E Apache Blvd in Tempe, on the Southwest corner of Apache Blvd and Terrace Rd. After opening their first location in Scottsdale, Founders Chad and Brooke Knudson are continuing their mission to bring fast, fresh, health conscious food and drinks to Phoenix-area residents with their new Tempe location.
We are over-the-top excited and grateful for this opportunity to conveniently serve tasty and healthy options to more valley residents, says DLISH Founder Chad Knudson. The Tempe location will be a terrific addition.
Voted Best Fast-Food by Phoenix Magazine and Best Drive-thru and Healthy Restaurant by the Phoenix New Times, DLISH provides a healthy alternative, made-to-order experience that can be enjoyed conveniently via eat-in or drive-thru dining. Additionally, with an affordable and varietal menu, the ever popular kitchen and coffee house provides its guests with an opportunity to visit multiple times a week or even in one day.
DLISH provides a healthy alternative to fast food without sacrificing taste or convenience for people on-the-go. The restaurant offers organic and all natural fresh ingredients, including locally grown produce when available. DLISH also chooses to reduce impact on the environment by recycling and using earth friendly products.
The menu offers a wide selection of fresh tastes including breakfast, salads, wiches, bowls and burgers. The protein packd quinoa black bean burger is vegetarian, but eats like a true burger; especially the TOP NOTCH style with grilled onions, crispy bacon, swiss and bbq sauce served on a soft artisan bun.
In addition, DLISH offers a drink menu ranging from coffee, teas, smoothies and shakes including their signature, recently trademarked drink, the Breakfast Buzz. This DLISHOUS blended shake not only tastes incredible, but is a meal replacement including vitamins and minerals, protein, banana, choice of milk, peanut butter, and espresso shots.
Although many have dreamed of a healthy fast food restaurant, the health conscious husband and wife team turned a dream into a reality at the start of 2009. Since developing the DLISH concept, menu and brand, the multi-faceted duo plans to rapidly grow into additional locations to conveniently serve its customers healthy fast food valley wide.
