  1. I cook mine in either chicken or vegetable stock (rice method, replace water with stock). It makes it super flavorful. Plus, I add a clove of garlic and/or a pinch of saffron to the water from time to time for even more flavor. Once it’s cooked I sprinkle it with nice sea salt and a little lemon zest.? SO good.

  2. Made some quinoa with? the rice boil method you suggested, but it came out somewhat bland even with a little garlic salt and olive oil. Any suggestions on what else to add to the pot?

  3. Does boiling and draining quinoa reduce the amount of tryptophan (serotonin precursor) in? the final product?

  5. we know it.? Unfortunately, there’s an ethics question at play with so many foods out there that it’s hard to avoid them all. Since we’re featuring health benefits rather than ethical benefits, we just feature them all.

  6. Here it is, next time I make it I will use black beans…the chickpeas? are lovely but the black beans would give it better color contrast…well, youtube won’t allow the link but the recipe is at fatfreevegan.

  7. Quinoa: amazing for you (especially vegetarians/vegans!), but ethically a bad buy when the countries that produce it can no longer afford to buy it (and instead are buying horrible imported junk food >.< ) because of demand skyrocketing the? prices.
