  1. Seeds and grains are high in phytic acid – they need to be soaked overnight with vinegar or they will block nutrient absorption.?

  2. Great, thanks! I’ll try to remove gluten from my diet? which shouldn’t be too hard since I’m already eating clean (1 ingredient foods), not eating any bread or other junk 😛 I’m glad I found your videos because you gave me the motivation I needed to cut out bread and chocolate from my diet 🙂

  3. A lot of people that go gluten free have tremendous results. A good reason is? because when people go gluten they tend to cut out sugar which works wonders to lose weight!

  4. Hey Brad! These look really good! I’m gonna have to find a way to get rid of my luna bars 😛 I was just wondering what your views are on the gluten-free diet since you used buckwheat in this recipe. I don’t have a? gluten intolerance but I’ve heard of people losing a lot of weight when they’ve removed gluten from their diets. Is it just because a lot of food containing gluten is processed?

  5. i’ve never tried it that way but it? should work…if the oats are not fully cooked via the baking…try cooking the steel cut oats first.

  6. Good? point about the apricots. Would you consider substituting steel cut oats for the rolled oats or is too much extra work?

  7. You like using the word “Crap” that is a bodily function and NOT a good word when talking about FOOD hello !!! could you please use JUNK instead ??? lol I HATE COCONUT can i put something else and I would like dried cherries instead of apricots? Couldn’t you? just have mixed the wet ingredients into the bowl and THEN put into pan??? Do I NEED salt ??? CAn I put chocolate protein powder in it too???
