  1. Heather please check breakfast video for TeamSkyOfficial on YouTube. They make an? excellent porridge with quinoa and oats and fruits and nuts and more. Looks beautiful.

  2. Will your live cooking class be posted later for those of? us who can’t watch it live? Quinoa porridge sounds so good!

  3. i have several people in my office eating quinoa instead of rice. I make mine like a stir fry with onions, scallions, green peas cilantro and olive oil.? just add cayenne pepper and turmeric mix it all up and eat..its deelish!

  4. I notice you have a Canadian accent. Are you originally from Canada? Where do you live ?I watch your videos and all is good! Love? the Recipes.

  5. Hi @Marystestkitchen, indeed there are issues with quinoa production as was noted in a recent NYT article, however production constraints are to be expected with growing interest in any emerging agricultural crop. I would not? discourage people from buying quinoa especially now as these farming regions are responding to the demand by expanding production to meet both local and international demand. Such a unique “superfood” should be more widely produced, not restrained on the demand side.

  6. yum, quinoa biryani sounds awesome! The KeenWah bars are online – check the yoga earth link in the description πŸ™‚ SO delicious… such a treat. Larabars are good to pick up on? the go, you can find them all over the place, but whenever I eat them I just think I could have made this πŸ˜‰ KeenWah bars are pretty special, they’re like a superfood chocolate bar, with the middle texture like a really good granola bar πŸ™‚

  7. I love making Quinoa biryani (quinoa cooked with curry powder, cumin, and turmeric? and veggies). Where did you purchase the keen wah bars, Heather? Sounds like a healthy delicious treat. Do you like them better than lara bars?

  8. I definitely agree with local production in general, but I also? think that if we can shift people away from beef (even just partially), the benefits can be huge. The impact that beef production/export has on those countries is even crazier than quinoa… Oats and wild rice are native to North America, and there are always lots of options to get the different nutritional components of foods. Quinoa is just one that’s pretty special πŸ™‚
