Question by : What is some good healthy quinoa racipes?
I have just recently found out about quinoa. Ive never even heard of it before until now but I pretty much everything if its high in protein. Unfortunately I dont eat many pastas because the nutrition just isnt as good as what I want it to be. So what is a good healthy recipe for quinoa?

  1. A lot of recipes for quinoa I have seen are just cooking it with different vegetables. I just got done eating a bowl of quinoa with butter and salt. And I think you can buy boxes of it that come with seasonings.

    Here are three recipes I have saved for quinoa I am planning on trying:


    —Moroccan Quinoa (I don’t have the link for this recipe saved, so I don’t know what site it came from)
    •1 cup quinoa, rinsed and drained
    •2 cups vegetable stock
    •1 small red or white onion, diced finely
    •1/4 cup chopped walnuts, toasted
    •1/4 cup dried apricots, diced
    •1 teaspoon Moroccan seasoning blend (recipe at end)
    1.In a medium saucepan, heat vegetable stock over medium heat.
    2.Add quinoa, onion, walnuts, apricots and Moroccan seasoning. Stir.
    3.Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes, until all liquid is absorbed.
    4.Remove from heat and leave covered 5 more minutes.
    5.Fluff with a fork.
